Hello everyone, you can call me Lily! I live in Shanghai but I'm from Taiwan originally. This is my fourth year in Shanghai and I'm going to start a family here soon. In my spare time, I like to study English, you might think it's funny, but I am really passionate about learning English.
I've been learning English for 17 years. This is something I will probably never give up.
My mother tongue is Mandarin. One of the reasons why I want to keep studying English is that I need to use it every day (much more than Mandarin!). My fiancé was born and raised in London and English is the language in which we communicate. Moreover, I'm a language teacher in American companies. I teach both Mandarin and English. I really enjoy what I'm doing but I think there's room to improve myself.
My dream is to speak native English. This may improve my work and give me more confidence in communicating and expressing myself. I think all my students will benefit from it, too. I really hope I will find people to help me out. That's why I'm here.
Anyway, I'm very easy going and fun to talk to. I hope to meet some friends here or meet my teacher. Thank you!
