My favorite thing to do is to travel and learn about new cultures and people. I'm from Boulder, Colorado, USA, but I have been living in South America since January 2011. I lived in Brazil for over two years; for 15 months in Rio de Janeiro and for 11 months in Salvador. I am currently living in Barranquilla, Colombia. I spend most of my weekends exploring the city and the surrounding areas as well as going to the beach as often as possible.
I'm a certified English teacher and that has been my main profession while I've been traveling.
I enjoy talking about a wide range of topics. I studied physics and astronomy in university but I also enjoy history, philosophy and linguistics, among other things.
