Since I was a teenager, hearing a foreigner speaking Italian, my mother language, was always a pleasure to me. Growing up I decided study foreign languages at the university and to become an Italian teacher for speakers of other languages. I have a degree in German and Russian at the University of Sassari and now I teach Italian in Vienna in vocational and adult education schools. I want to do this job for the rest of my life, together with my other professional field, which is to translate literature. My biggest satisfaction when teaching is realise that the learner is having fun and seeing a new world opening, not only learning a new language or improving it.
One year ago I started my second degree program "Lehramt" at the University of Vienna in order to become a highschool teacher in Austria. Before my degree I have taught Italian and Russian in Lahti, Finland, thanks to the european teacher program Comenius. Teaching Italian with Italki is really what I hope I can do!
