I am interested in many aspects of Africa, its history, geography, cultures, languages and development. To refine my area of interest, I am concentrating on Kiswahili, one of the Bantu sub group languages found in south eastern coastal Africa. Kiswahili has always been a language that adopts new concepts and ideas from other languages and is growing rapidly as trading languages always seem to do.
