I need to HEAR Thai phrases and their English meaning so I can recognize and replicate when I'm visiting Thailand. I would happy speaking at the level of a 6 year old!
Reading the language can come later.
I'm presently interested only in the audio/spoken components.
I am illiterate in Thai. I intend to spend winters (6 months!) yearly there. I need to be able to communicate basics.
I need a teacher who speaks VERY CLEARLY, and can explain the way the sounds are articulated. Did I mention I don't hear well? [;>)
I'm a retired Canadian college math professor. I no longer enjoy Canadian winters so I'm heading someplace warm. After 3 trips to SE Asia, I've opted to spend my time in Thailand.
So my special TEACHER, where are you??
