My reason for joining italki is a recent trip to Japan. I found my language skills increasing quickly during my 2 month stay, and I don't want to lose what I have learnt, and hopefully continue my improvement further.
I am currently a medical student entering my 5th year of study. My dream would be to work in Japan in around 4 years time, about 2 years after I graduate, and I hope to advance my Japanese skills before then! It would be great to have a language exchange partner/teacher to practice with, but my Japanese is still at a basic level. Obviously I would like to give back to the community, so anyone who is wishing for help with English is welcome to approach me.
