Howdy!
I recently started teaching English at one of the many private academies here in Korea. I can already see that many of the foreign teachers here spend most of their time around other foreigners speaking only in English, and I don't want to do that.
My goal is to be conversational in Korean by November. By conversational I mean I want to have everyday conversations with little hesitation; I don't expect to be fluent in 3 months or speak without error.
Of course, I will be practicing my Korean with people here in Gwangju as much as possible, but I'd like to complement that with a language exchange partner.
English is my first language, and I am also fluent in Levantine Arabic. I'd be more than happy to help you speak in either language!
