This method serves as an excellent pulse check, ensuring that I am on track and haven't missed any crucial information.

Marco e io abbiamo avuto molte conversazioni diverse. Spesso gli parlo della cultura e della geografia del mio paese e lui mi racconta dell'Italia e degli altri paesi in cui ha viaggiato. le conversazioni sono divertenti e mi danno la possibilità di esprimermi in italiano.

Excellent teacher

Marco is a gifted and devoted teacher with deep grounding in languages, literature, philosophy and cuisine, among other fields. He is no doubt one of the few instructors on Italki, if not the only one, who has also published two collections of short stories. Marco's style is relaxed and informal but also focused. He is highly sensitive to nuance and semantic resonance, and in this he is assisted by his fluency in several other European languages. In the short time since I began lessons with Marco, we have worked together on the composition and translation of a number of stories. It is a true collaboration. Marco gives due attention to the fundamentals. Every day, he sends out a short grammar quiz for completion outside of the lessons. I do not know of any other teacher who goes to this trouble. Marco is keenly intelligent, generous, and playful. He has all the qualities of a great teacher. I am happy to recommend him without reservation.
