I have taken 80+ lessons with Yuki sensei since last year and was able to improve my Japanese level significantly. She is very professional and informative when I have language related questions (grammar, vocab etc.) At the same time, she is also extremely helpful when it comes to culture related questions. Through our journal exchanges I got to understand many cultural aspects that I was not aware of before, even though I have been living in Japan for quite some time. It is truly a pleasure to have her as my teacher and I would recommend her for anyone who is serious about learning Japanese. 先生のお陰様で、日本語で文章を書くことに自信を持つようになりました。交換日記により、様々なトピックについて討論できますので、会話の能力もより一層流暢になった気がします。今までアートや教育や日本の文化など幅広い分野での話ができて、いろいろな知識を身につけた上に、一緒に過ごした時間も本当に楽しかったです。沢山教えて頂き、誠にありがとうございました。

Very happy with my lessons with Yuki 先生。 Each lessons are well prepared in advance with various materials that are personalized. Best of all, Yuki先生 encourages me to learn more on my language study beyond my lesson. Highly recommend for any Japanese language learners. Thank you so much!

Yuki's Journal Exchange program is a very effective approach to learning Japanese. The topics are naturally relevant to my interests and writing the articles have been excellent preparation for my lessons. In our lessons I read the article in Japanese and we discuss aspects of it as we go. By reading kanji, my understanding of word formation, pronunciation and and meaning has certainly increased. Yuki is a friendly, helpful, and patient teacher, and I highly recommend her lessons.

Yuki is wonderful! I had her look over the Japanese on my website. Not only did she clearly spend time with the content before the lesson, she did a great job of sharing her feedback in a way that was easy to understand. When I had questions, she was able to answer clearly, and she made sure to check in regularly whether I needed clarification or had other questions. I would highly recommend her classes!

Yuki is such a great teacher. I feel the journal writing classes I am taking are really helping all areas of my Japanese plus they lead to various discussions which are always fun and interesting. Yuki has a wonderful personality and is very patient when I am trying to speak or think of the words. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
