English can seem difficult and confusing at times; I know that for sure as I’ve walked this path myself! Let’s use this trial class as an opportunity to connect and get to know each other. Together we can run through some different teaching methodologies I use and choose what best suits your needs. We’ll discuss what goals you expect to achieve, why you want to learn English, and how we can make a great team to accomplish this mission in a short time and in a fun way. Давайте воспользуемся этим пробным уроком как возможностью познакомиться и немного узнать друг друга. Я покажу вам, какие инструменты и методы использую, и мы выберем те, которые лучше всего подходят для ваших нужд. At first, I'll teach you Useful Tagalog and Waray Words/Phrases/Sentences. But If you already have the knowledge on some words/phrases/sentences of the language we can start on a Conversation Topic which is a Structured Lesson, and as to your preference we can have random topics during our class. Then, we will talk about your learning goals and we will work together to make a learning/study plan that best suits your needs. 

I focus in teaching vocabulary development, oral fluency, reading comprehension, developing conversational skills, grammar, sentence structure, enunciating words coupled with constructive error corrections. We can also discuss varied topics or anything you would like to talk about. My lessons in Tagalog and Waray are for  Beginners, Basic Users, Independent Users and Advanced/Proficient Users. Conversational English lessons to non-native speakers who are beginners, intermediate and upper intermediate levels. I prepare lessons/topics/subject matter as to the needs of the students and each lesson is sent to to the student. I assure you that I will make lessons both engaging and useful.

This is an opportunity for us to meet and for you to explain your needs. The lesson will include a short English activity.

In this 1:1 Free Talk Fun Activities class, students will be encouraged to use their English skills to answer questions using complete sentences and original thoughts. Of course, grammar and pronunciation will be corrected along the way as well. The main focus of this class is the give the students experience with applying the English vocabulary that they already know while receiving help with expressing their thoughts in proper sentence structures. To help guide the students, there will be a total of 5 free talk activities:
1. Escape Room - help escape the kitchen by answering questions about food, colors, locations, etc.
2. Video Questions - watch a video of a famous children's song and answer questions about animals and numbers.
3. Would You Rather? - students are given two fun and interesting options and must choose one while doing their best to explain their selection.
4. Likes/Preferences -  students use a song to learn how to answer questions about preferences, then ask and answer questions with the teacher about likes/dislikes.
5. Class Review - this time is used to discuss and reflect on what the student can continue to improve on, what they excelled with, and what their favourite part of the lesson was.

Our trial lesson will be a relaxed and enjoyable conversation where we can get to know each other. In it, we'll discuss your language level, learning goals, and come up with a study plan. No preparation needed!
