Every student is different with different strengths and weaknesses thereby different needs as well. this means the lessons will also differ according to each student's needs. We start always with an introductory lesson where we get to know each other and at the same time ascertain the needs of the students. Today was my first class with Ayret! We had a really nice and friendly talk. She was curious to know more about my country, especially about food and music. I was curious to know about arts in Zimbabwe and South Africa. Ayret was already able to set a goal to our class. She also encourages me to do a small research about any culture of my choice, then we will discuss about it in our next class. I like how she was able to structure our class by giving me a tiny homework. Even though I am canadian and consider myself bilingual, I don´t use English every day. This class will help me to build confidence and get more fluent in English.
