Hi my name is Nicoya. I am 24 years of age. Born and raised in Jamaica. I am a native English and Jamaican creole speaker who loves adventures and to help others. I am a goal oriented individual and competent at whatever I put my mind to achieve. I am free spirited and love interactions with others as it expands my knowledge.
Spanish: Hola mi nombre es Nicoya. Tengo 24 años. Nacido y criado en Jamaica. Soy un hablante nativo de inglés y criollo jamaicano que ama las aventuras y ayudar a los demás.
French: Bonjour, je m'appelle Nicoya. J'ai 24 ans. Né et élevé en Jamaïque. Je suis de langue maternelle anglaise et créole jamaïcaine qui aime les aventures et aider les autres.عني كمعلّم
I have always been intrigued to help others and share my knowledge. I am here to teach English to beginners, intermediates and upper intermediate persons. I am also a native Jamaican creole speaker. I will be more than happy to teach both standard English and patois. I'm also here to talk about positivity and cultural related topics. I will always create a very comfortable, fun learning environment. I'm willing to help others move from basic to fluent.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I like an interactive environment. Therefore, alot of discussions and demonstrations (scenarios) will be done. I will go at the pace that suits my students, there is no rush to do this.
I will start by teaching the basic day to day English and Patois words, then get to the point where students can use these words into day to day statements/questions like a native speaker would. At the end of each lesson there will be a short quiz or more of what they have learnt that day.
The necessary tools will be used to carry out this duty to my students.
