Hi I’m Leila. Currently I live in Nanjing. Chinese Mandarin is my native language. ChengDu is my hometown and my parents live in HangZhou, so I know more about the customs and cultures of southern China.
Time flies. I’ve spent three years in Italki, I’ve also been learning English while practicing my teaching ability here. Through this platform I made many friends. For me Italki is not only a tool for study, it is also a medium to communicate with the world. I am a person who likes to explore and I’m always curious about new things. I like hiking, swimming, music, traveling, learning languages and so on. I always enjoy to discuss different ideas and cultural matters with my friend.عني كمعلّم
As a teacher:
During my teaching process, I’ll from the perspective of a student
I can be more patient to guide students conversation actively. I make the class livelier and fun.
I try not to use English in my class, advocating an immersive teaching method. According to the different level of my students, I adjust the content and difficulty of the dialogue.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
Teaching style:
1. Oral Chinese: According to your level and hobbies, we will choose different topics (life, culture, history, stories, etc.).
I will provide you with teaching materials selected from life. I use the words that you already learned to practice usefully.
Only when you are interested in the topic, you can stimulate your motivation to speak.
2. HSK: According to the exam, I will focus on the practice of listening and reading comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary practice and review.

Leila is a wonderful teacher!! She is really patient and she has the perfect skills to adapt her speech to the level of her students. She has taught me a lot of constructions, adapted to my level, she corrected me both pronunciation and structure, and at the same time was fun and relaxed. Leila is such a fun teacher. She is patient, helpful, and playful. When she learned that I enjoy skiing she showed me a ski resort near her house and taught me all the relevant Chinese words. When I shared my love for 一点点 (a bubble tea) she went out and tried it and sent me a picture. She is a great teacher and I really enjoy learning Chinese while making a friend. 谢谢
