Hi, everyone!
✔️ I studied International Relations at Graduate School of International Studies
- GSIS at Korea University ( The master's course )
✔️Certificate of multi culture expert KIIP(Korea Immigration & Integration program)
I was born and raised in Seoul. I have a SEOUL ACCENT.
After graduating from university, I worked at a bank. When I was a banker, I was able to meet many foreigners such as Diplomats, English teachers and Executives at a major foreign company. I love meeting and talking with foreigners.
My major was English Language and Literature and Business Administration. I've also studied International Relations at Graduate school. I like to study in various fields.عني كمعلّم
Whenever I have free time, I prepare meaningful lessons for my students. I've been reading books about Korean as a Foreign Language. I try to put myself in my student's shoes.
So if you are a beginner, now is the best time to take my lessons as I'm better prepared to explain grammar topics in an easy to understand manner!
I really like to teach foreigners. Whenever I meet and teach my students on italki, and see that their Korean language skill has improved through my lessons, I am very happy. For me, teaching is a very rewarding job.

Lessons with Yoonju are one of my favorites parts of the week. It feels like I have my own personal college level professor teaching me Korean. She is so professional and well prepared, and I really like how she sticks to using Korean as much as possible during the lessons.

Yoonju is the best teacher I have ever had. She is dedicated and attentive, and she always encourages me to try harder. She is well prepared and her lessons are always stimulating, engaging, and fun! Yoonju is a teacher with a passion and classes with her are always a pleasure, I just love conversing with her about everything. Thanks to her support I can see my progress each week and I am able to get more confident with my Korean. Thank you so much for your help and see you next week!

I just finished my first TOPIK prep lesson with Yoonju 선생님. I appreciated her cheery attitude and ability to make me feel comfortable right away. We reviewed a few questions from a past TOPIK exam to help me prepare to take the TOPIK II (the Korean proficiency test for intermediate though advanced learners). I enjoyed that our whole lesson was conducted in Korean with only a few translations for vocabulary. I also appreciated Yoonju 선생님's ability to explain the connotations and nuances of different grammar structures easily. I look forward to taking more classes with her!
