Bonjour ! My name is Patrick . I was born in the region of Limousin in the center west of France and was raised there .
At 16 y.o I started my carreer as a singer while studing english and german at the University of Limoges . After my licence degree I then moved to Paris where i ve lived for 18 years . I had the privilege to sing regularly in the MOULIN ROUGE from 2002 to 2015 and performed in 23
countries .
I have been teaching french AS A FULL TIME JOB since 2018 online and passed my teaching certification by the Alliance Française Paris in 2019 !Ich als Lehrkraft

I am a passionate, encouraging, smiling and funny ( according to my students ! ) ,and am a very patient teacher. The lessons I teach are interactive, dynamic and I give the students a lot of opportunity to talk.
I'm careful about pronunciation (what's the use of knowing a lot of words if you pronounce them badly, right?). I train orally with the "shadowing" method that I myself apply intuitively in language learning.

I like to teach in a setting conducive to relaxation. I help the student to desacralize his mistakes by helping him/her in the reformulation, never forgetting to congratulate him for the efforts made! Patrick is knowledgeable about a myriad of topics that we both can resonate around, and is fluent in English, which enable deeper comunication when figuring out linguistic snags. He has a great sense of humor, which we share, and we both get to carry on quite a bit, which makes the absorption of new matierials memorable and delightful. He is quite encouraging about my French, which keeps a student advancing!

Great discussion of political differences and opinions about global warming, the European Union, future of democracy Etc. Many corrections in my grammar errors which is always helpful, if I can retain the corrections! Thank you Patrick.

He's become a friend over time. He makes small corrections to my goofy errors, most of which I recognize once I've said them. I'm at a rather advanced level, so not sure if this is useful to beginners, but would highly recommend him to advanced students.
