Hello! ¡Hola¡
My name is Zamira and I joined Italki to become a community tutor to help you learn Spanish and English. I have citizenship in both the United States and Spain so I am bilingual and bicultural in both countries. I have learned so much from each country and have given amazing opportunities which I am very thankful for.
I lived in the states for ten years but I am now living in a small town by the mountains in the outskirts of Madrid. I love spending time in nature and being able to go hiking and rock climbing so I love where I live. I also enjoy playing the ukulele, trying out new recipes, spending time with family and traveling.
Ich als Lehrkraft
Learning a new language can open up a whole new world where you can meet and communicate with people from other countries and learn from their cultures. It is such a beautiful experience to travel and be able to communicate with people who may not speak our native language.
I am here on italki to create a safe and comfortable environment where I can help you learn Spanish and English and be able to learn from each other. I hope to accompany you as you learn a new language and have fun with it.
I look forward to meeting you soon! ¡Espero conocerte pronto!
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
My lessons are based on conversation, they are meant to help improve your conversational fluency and add new words to your vocabulary.
For my English classes I offer two types of classes:
1. Informal conversation- I don't prepare any material we just simply talk about whatever we want.
2. Structured conversation- I pick a topic (ex: movies) we talk about it and I give you a list of relevant vocabulary and provide you with articles, videos...
Para mis clases de español ofrezco dos tipos de clases:
1. Conversación Informal- No preparo nada para clase y hablamos de lo que queramos.
2. Conversación estructurada- Escojo un tema (Ej: cocinar) y hablamos, te doy vocabulario, artículos...
