Hello there! My name is Merve, and I'm excited to meet you and help you learn Turkish. I currently live in Istanbul, Turkey and Turkish is my native language. But don't worry, I'm fluent in English too!
In addition to teaching Turkish, I have a deep passion for exploring different cultures and connecting with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I believe that language is a powerful tool for understanding and appreciating different perspectives. Through my teaching, I hope to help you develop a deeper understanding of Turkish culture and language.
Ich als Lehrkraft
As an experienced teacher, I believe that learning should be enjoyable and rewarding. I create a positive and supportive environment where students feel safe to take risks and make mistakes. I understand that learning a new language can be challenging, but I am here to support and guide you every step of the way.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
As a community tutor, I prioritize creating an atmosphere where you feel like you're chatting with a friend. During our sessions, I will correct your mistakes when needed and provide guidance to help you improve. Whether you prefer a structured or more flexible approach, I will tailor our sessions to meet your specific needs and goals. My aim is to make each lesson enjoyable, interactive, and effective.
In addition to teaching the language, I will also expose you to Turkish culture. I can share interesting facts, traditions, and customs that will enhance your understanding of the language and its context.
Merve offers interesting and original conversation topics that force you to step out of your comfort zone and think about more complicated sentences. It is very motivating.
