It's surprisingly safe. Many people are scared when they hear my country's name. They don't know my city was the capital of tourism in the Middle East back in 2019. There are many spots to explore especially nature and historical views. The Erbil Citadel is one of the wonders of my city with 8000 years of history. People are friendly and tourists are always welcomed here. Last but not least is Kurdish food. I suggest you don't leave Kurdistan without tasting typical Kurdish Briani, Kfta, and Kabab.
