Help me correct this please šŸ™ The unknown woman After I leaving university, while I went back to my home, an old lady got closed to me and said "Hi" very kindly. I was a little bit in shock because I wasn't be able to place her, so I just said "hi" back to her. She started asking general questions as the same that you make to your old friends, but she never mentioned names, things like "how's your mom?" and I just answered nicely. I wondered myself "who is this woman?". After that I'm quite certain that she knew that I didn't recognized her, and it's probably she confused me with someone else, because she said "good-bye" nervously and was gone faster. Until now I don't know who that old lady was šŸ˜….

I was a little bit in shock because I wasn't able to place her, so I just said "Hi" back to her. She started asking general questions like the ones that you ask your old friends, but she never mentioned names, things like "how's your mom?" and I just answered nicely. I wondered to myself "Who is this woman?". After that I'm quite certain that she knew (realized) that I didn't recognize her. It’s probably just that she had confused me with someone else, because she said "goodbye" nervously and left quickly. Even now I don't know who that elderly lady was šŸ˜….
Awkward šŸ˜… ā€œElderlyā€ is more polite than ā€œoldā€ when talking about people. šŸ™‚
