Naomi
Hi! My name is Naomi and I come from Italy. I grew up in a small village in the south, named San Demetrio. In this little place sited among the mountains and the sea, I spent my childhood and my teenage. At the time it was a very vibrant place with a lot of youth, but growing up, many people decided to leave, as I did. The territory has some of the most beautiful picture-panoramic scenaries but, at the same time, there are many shortcomings: no jobs, low wages, a very bad functioning public transport are only few of the problems that today still affects most of the south of Italy, well known as the south north divide. On the other side the village, now mostly populated by elderly, is a hideway from the frenetic lifestyle common nowadays. This is the reason why I always try to visit it during summer breaks. Be that as it may this place will always be special in my heart!

I went the last summer to Italy and I was in many cities, but I was in Malccesine and it was so beautiful this place. It is close to Verona. It’s near to your city that you talked about?
