Hello All In my small community there are a growing number of families from the Chaldean diaspora. The language is also called Neo-Aramaic, I believe. As a teacher of children, I’m concerned about the lack of translation resources for this language and we have had significant difficulty communicating with these families regarding their children and providing access to community resources for them. Does anyone have familiarity with the language or ideas about supporting this new (in our town)community? Thank you!! H

When you say Chaldean/Neo-Aramaic are you talking about middle eastern countries. What countr(ies) are you referring to?

Hi Katya, The region is southern Iran, northern Syria. It's a Christian minority group that exists in various areas across the region and there is a diaspora community in the San Diego area in California, USA, which is a very expensive and crowded region leading to some emigration to rural communities like the area I live in. I don't know much else.
