Please correct me, thank you What should we focus on in the education system? It is a controversial question that is often debated by scholars, parents, or even students themselves. In my opinion, facts and concepts are both important, the latter, however, contributes more to children's level of knowledge. First of all, education without teaching established knowledge is impractical. We need some basic information to survive in current society, such as a fundamental understanding of laws, or ways to maintain health. Almost every subject in schools corresponds to certain skills that are indispensable in the future. For example, many students find learning history boring and useless. In reality, it tells us how the human world evolved and reminds us to avoid the same mistakes. Remembering established knowledge seems to be time-wasting, but, in fact, it is the first step to become a civilized citizen. Nevertheless, understanding the concepts behind knowledge is much more crucial to people's life. Remembering established knowledge is not enough to adapt to this fast-changing world since the information would be out of date in just blinks of eyes. In contrast, the concepts behind them build up our critical thinking skills, allow us to think like who develops this knowledge. For example, we all learned the gravity laws of physics in schools. Memorizing the equation may not be helpful, but the story of Newton hitten by an apple gives us a profound lesson, which we must always be curious and doubtful about everything.

Hi Tiffany!👋 Fantastic writing! For the most part, your grammar is excellent. I have only changed the structure of a few sentences. I also changed the wording of phrases such as "blinks of eyes" and "doubtful about everything." What should we focus on in the education system? Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions in the future! 😊
