Today, it was raining. We had a little program at 7.30 in the morning. Today some of my classes were cancelled. So I got enough time to have some free time. I helped my mom to make some dishes, and today my grandma was talking with me. She talked about herself and how she had spent her childhood with her parents. When I was hearing about those things I was surprised. I'm curious to know about the past, or about something I don't know and about my grandma. She was born and raised in Kandy. She has done lots of funny thing. When she is talking about those things she laughs. She is still enjoying her life. We talked about how the city was 50 years ago and about lots of things. She knows how to talk in a way that makes us curious. ~~~~ Who or what had the program? (the "we" was a little unclear) Did your school have a program? (special activities?) "My school had a little program..." Or did you watch a program on TV? (a TV program) Another option: "We talked about what the city was like 50 years ago."
