Today I tried a new recipe of pasta, which I came up with from scratch. “From scratch“ is incorrect, because this was based on a dish I ate at an Italian restaurant long ago. Of course I couldn't know the recipe for it, but I liked it, and I had been eager to make a new kind of pasta these days, so I decided to make one similar to it. The result was, unfortunately, awful. I felt very sorry for the ingredients I used. However, at the same time, I could once again realize that professional chefs and the dishes they make are incredibly and unbelievably great. In addition, I was once again reminded of the importance of foods. To sum up, the closer we get to the world of food and cooking ourselves, the more respectful and, most importantly, thankful to the great work of chefs, the dishes they are serving, and of course foods around us.
