"Runterzieht" and "Runterzehen" on Google returns zero reliable results.

So I read this one quote saying, "Kämpfe um das, was dich weiter bringt. Akzeptiere das, was du nicht ändern kannst. Und trenne dich von dem, was dich runterzieht."

I brought it to Google Translate and I quite understood what the quote meant except for the word "runterzieht". I tried to find its meaning but Google result returns a list of sites that doesn't give a meaning of it. Does anyone here know its meaning?

I tried to search further and all I found is the break down of it to "runter" and "zieht", respectively "down" and "draws". The results also suggests "runterziehen" but does not give its meaning. I also notice on Deutsch, there is kind of like joining of words like "Webdesignerin" as in "Web Designer". Or something like that. Does anyone have any thought on this?

Your analysis is correct -- it means "separate yourself from that which pulls you down." "Runter" (short for "hinunter" or "herunter") is an adverbial particle just like the English word "down," the only difference is that Germans right them together as one word.
