i am not good at English speaking,so I try to find pen pal in internet. I tried so many times,even went to find some website and sighed up as a member . But that didnt work. I just found one splendi pen pal,we talk about our languages,and help each other.
The problem is that many people are pretending a pen pal, the truth is they just want to flirt . It makes me confused. So tell me, which kind of pen pal you want and how do you find a great pen pal?
I don’t like to do things “on purpose”, so I’ve never been looking for pen-pals. However, I do have a super-great “pen-pal”, a young lady from California who is very clever and interesting. I dropped her a line on Youtube, asking her something about a silent film she had uploaded. We started writing to each other, from a few sentences at first, gradually increasing to more and more pages. Although we haven’t had the chance to meet in real life yet, we are close friends who confide in each other. She doesn’t speak Chinese at all, though.
Don’t be discouraged by those who don’t deserve your attention. It’s always not easy to come across people who are serious enough to become pen-pals. If you can comfortably afford it, it’s worth trying to have tutors to help improve your English.
If you don't want to flirt you have to make that very clear. If you notice that your pen pal is trying to flirt with you, you have to tell them politely that this isn't what you are looking for. You will eventually find someone who's very genuine and who is looking for a language exchange and a pen pal.
I want someone to help me with my Chinese, I don't want to flirt over the Internet. :D
