can you be a little more precise? Is it the pronunciation, the spelling, the grammar, the dialects, the fact that especially on the internet many native German speakers have awful spelling or grammar,...? ;-)

As a native speaker I also don't know why many of the things are the way they are in German, but it doesn't really matter too much. If you want to learn the language, you can do it, just like any other language, and I'm sure there are many people here that are willing to help with that. :-)

Its your thoughts that tell you this. I thought Arabic is so hard, but just learned some weeks and had my first conversation after I discovered how you need to learn.

I think it's the best method, cause me myself I learned that way and found it much easier than I've ever learned before.
