어렸을때 부터

I'm trying to understand that fragment.

Some places translate it as : "Ever since I was little"
In other places just as : "As young"

Could you please help me on the analysis of that fragment structure?

Thanks a lot!

Focus on meaning, not translation. The translation could be worded a number of ways with the same meaning. However, "as young" isn't right. It doesn't even sound like proper English.

Possible translations "Ever since I was a kid", "Since I was young", "Starting from childhood", "Beginning in my youth", and the sort.

어렸을 때부터

어렸을 comes from 어리다 (to be young). It is in the past tense.

(으)ㄹ 때 is a grammar construct roughly meaning "the time(s) that x"

부터 is a grammatical particle representing a starting point in time..."from", "since"

I only know that it means ever since I was young

I can't help you with the structure as I'm just a beginner sorry but I think that 부터 means ever since and 어려 means kid and the rest ㅆ 을대  means when someone was or simply when+ to be in the past.

So as for as I know it goes like this:

어려  /       ㅆ을때         /부터                                             Kid   /   when(I)was   / ever since

I hope that was helpful.

I guess first one is close.

Actually '어렸을 때부터' is just 'since I was young'

If you say 'EVER since I was young', it should be '어렸을 때부터 항상/줄곧/내내/언제나'

The second translation as 'As young', well I think it's wrong for 어렸을 때부터.

Anyway, you can write on the question board, so more people can read your post and answer.
