Japanese Dramas

Hi, I am currently learning Japanese and I figured that watching more Japanese dramas and listening to Japanese music would help. So just wondering if there are any recommendations to any good dramas and music lately?

With music, I prefer ballad and pretty much all genres but maybe not so much rock and metal and very loud and noisy music.. haha.

Thanks in advance for all the suggestions^^

I have only seen one Japanese drama recently. It's called Woman and I really liked it. Here's a link to its wiki page:

Mmh my favourite music band is Kalafina. I don't know if you know Yuki Kajiura (she made lots of anime soundtracks), but I think her music is absolutely stunning, there isn't a piece I do not like. And she composes the music for Kalafina. She's so amazing with harmonies... For me, this is a style I can't find anywhere else, it's quite unique and beautiful (a bit pop but not that much).

As for dramas, I'm searching for some myself actually. The first one I've ever watched was タイヨウのうた (Taiyou no Uta). It's a sad one but I liked it a lot. It's pretty funny at times too. I also made the mistake of watching 1リットルの涙 (1 Litre of Tears). It is really good, but obviously the saddest thing I've watched. It's the same actress too.

That's about it for my limited knowledge of dramas, I'm sorry.
