1) Please excuse (v) me while I think of an excuse (n).
2) The button was so minute (adj), it took a minute (n) to find it.
3) It's the referee's job to record (v) the new world record (n).
4) When people abuse (v) drugs this is called drug abuse (n).
5) To contest (v) the issue, they held a contest (n).
6) If I need a duplicate (n), I can use the photocopier to duplicate (v) the letter.
7) When I graduate (v), I will become a graduate (n).
Here's my version, with a West Riding of Yorkshire accent. Yorkshire is the largest county in England and consists of three 'Ridings', North Riding, East Riding, and West Riding. Each Riding not only has distinctly different accents, but different accents exist within each Riding. Many English people (especially Yorkshire people) can tell which city I'm from by my accent.
OK... so Su.Ki. complimented Andy on his nice accent, but neglected saying anything about my accent... I'm hurt :) ... I think I'll pout for a minute... :)

Thank you so much. I agree with you, both suggestions are important to me. I really had a problem with those, even I repeated the record more than twice because of them. Generally, I think you gave some important tips of mastering the pronunciation.

That was better but there is still some noise coming from your microphone (like a popping or crackling sound). This often happens when the microphone is too close to our mouths.
Unfortunately, it wasn't clear enough to be able to make any comments.
I'm sorry to have to ask you to try it again, but if you try it 6 more times, you'll start to sound like a Canadian :)
