Why does North and South people still dislike each other, and why does everyone in Vietnam hate people from Thanh Hoa and Nghe An... its very interesting... PS. I live in Hanoi. hihi

The answer depends on yours :-)

In my opinion, Quang Ninh province, Hue city, and Danang city are best. I love the nature beauty of halong bay, cô tô island, yên tử mountain (QN province). I was very surprised about Yên Tử mountain (Before I went to Yên Tử, I didn't like Buddhism, but it changed my mind).

I also love peaceful life of Hue (which I go three times and will go back more), but my friends complain that it is too rainy :D

The seafood in Danang is very fresh and cheap (in compare with others in Vietnam). All QN, Hue, and Danang has mountain and beach.

Other famous place are Nha trang and Phu quoc (both have beautiful beach).

I listed these place in north-to-south order, so Quang Ninh is the coldest place and Phú Quốc is the warmest place. I think there is no winter in Phú Quốc (just 90%, not sure).

My foreign friends said that people in Vietnam is like the weather: they're warmer from north to south, haha.

Some Vietnamese people know French, because Vietnam belongs to La Francophonie (Organisation internationale de la Francophonie). But I think in Vietnam, French is not as popular as English. 

What places can I visit in Vietnam? How is the people and the climate? is it truth that some people know French?
