Learning Korean and getting corrections

여러분 안녕하세요! I'm learning Korean,  partly because I want to travel there soon and also study there in a few years. I'm learning through TTMIK and HTSK and I would highly recommend these two sites. However I need someone to practice with,  so maybe you would like to? Just message me if so! I also need someone who can give corrections on my diary notes as I write and practice. Thank you!

I'm happy that you liked the links! For memorising vocabulary,  on the go or at home,  HTSK guided me to use Memrise,  and that's where I learnt most of my vocab. In Korean you use Hangul as the script language,  and it is considered by many to be one of the easiest alphabets to learn,  and I have that opinion too.

While you won't become quick in reading it immediately, from my own experience it is possible to learn the characters in just one hour if you study it all at once,  and then regularly brush up on it.  I have taken long long breaks from studying,  and even so,  after those breaks I become even better at it,  so don't worry if you can't study or want to study all the time.

HTSK is mainly for writing I think,  and TTMIK is for speaking. It's easy because of the podcasts from TTMIK  which I have on my phone.

Good luck to you as well!

Hi SwoshCat I just want to thank you for the links you posted it. I like to learn some of korean language too but it seems very difficult for me since I only know the latin alphabet and I never used an idiogram language. I was in Seoul last year and I really enjoyed. I felt at home actually. People are great though a little shy. The food is good too. I learnt how to pronounce few words and phrases there but I'd lie if I tell you I can write or read in korean :(

Good luck!
