15 minutes which inspire you to move on.

Hello friends:)

I know a quote in Russian and I want to translate this quote and share with you.

Sometimes it is enough 15 minutes communicating with a good man and you want to move on.

So who is this good person for you?

When you say to "move on", do you mean to "move forward / motivate you"?

1. My dad for his humanism and enormous love and compassion towards a massive number of people over the course of his life.

2. My best friend for her beauty and kindness, and the way she makes people happy.

3. Frank Zappa for his intelligence and insane creativity.

4. David Bowie for his incredible versatility and creativity.

5. Madonna for her determination.

this good man may be everyone whose you can learn something from.In China, there is a proverb, As three men are walking together, one of them is bound to be good enough to act as my teacher.

Not necessarily, Leyla!

Believe it or not, I have received around 40 very sincere messages of condolence from friends, family and colleagues when David Bowie died last week. In fact, I was so shattered by the dreadful news that I had to take most of the day off. I couldn't function, and for the first time in my entire life, I've gone 10 days so far without listening to him, or reading his outstanding lyrics. It's too painful.

Have I ever "communicated" with David Bowie? Nope! However, my mum listened to him when she was pregnant with me, and that's when I started to love the man on all levels, especially from an artistic point of view (I've been a fan of his persona and incredible work all my life). He has inspired me for everything in my life, and to such an extent that I couldn't even begin to explain all the details here.

I believe that you don't need direct communication with someone for them to affect your life, and even change it altogether. Madonna has had the same effect on me but at a different level. Whenever I'm in doubt about something I want to do, or scared of failing, I watch some interviews of her (especially those from the 80s when she started), and I just get things done. Finally, as far as Madonna is concerned, hasn't she changed the life of thousands of gay people? People who, however, never "communicated" with her... :-)

Life is beautiful and anyone can inspire you. Even strangers on the street you see just for 10 seconds! The smile of a stranger can literally change your life! :-)

I think sometimes it doesn't even have to be somebody you know. As long as a person is kind and respectful, he/she will be a pleasure to speak to.
