How can I be a good person ?

Pretty easily.   Be kind to people and animals.  Be helpful when you can.  Have compassion on people or animals who are in pain or suffering and try to do whatever you can to relieve their pain, if if only sitting by them to lend support, be generous with your time, energy and money, be friendly, speak to everyone no matter where they come from.  Don't judge at least until you have the entire story.

Smile at strangers. Say please and thank you.  Hold the door open for people, etc
