I'm latin, and I like music like salsa, regue, ranchera and banda. I think this kind of music don't have the complex structure than clasic music or other, but this salsa, regue, banda and ranchera representet the latin spirit.

When I was taking a walk today, these are the pieces of music I listened to on my iPod:

1) Brahms, "Variations on a Theme by Haydn;" Horacio Guiterrez (piano); Andre Previn, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

2) "Jerusalem," Blake/Parry, Choir of King's College

3) "Run Come See, Jerusalem," The Weavers (folk quartet of the 1960s)

4) "Sloop John B," The Beach Boys

5) "Lemon Tree," Peter Paul and Mary

It really depends on the life I am living, actually. I used to be a huge fan of music in English, mainly pop/rock but now I no longer enjoy them as I used to. But there's still one Canadian singer that I'm constantly listening to her music, she's Alanis Morissette. But nowadays I'm more focused in Latin and Italian music. I just find the rythm awesome and artistic, especially when it's in Spanish! :)

While I have varied interests in music as I have been a music lover my entire life, since I was a small child in the 60s, my favorite things are the songs of my time period.   I love classic rock, Motown best, but I also love 40s jazz vocalists, French music, Cajun music ( Zydeco ), some country ( Hank Williams, Patsy Cline ) and some modern rock.

I don't have a favorite kind of music. I like a little bit of everything. Kind of like food. I want Italian one day, Japanese the next, then Mexican, Indian and Thai. I've never really understood how someone could get fixated on one type of music when there is so much great rock, jazz, classical, pop, blues, rap, etc.
