You can always create the three noun forms but some might sound unnatural.
For example, 음악 듣기를 좋아하다 can be paraphrased as 음악 듣는 것을 좋아하다, but 음악 들음을 좋아하다 sounds nonsensical.
친구를 잃기 is much less natural than 친구를 잃는 것, although it's not wrong, but more commonly known things can go with either - e.g. 돈 벌기 vs 돈 버는 것 are interchangeable.
The -(으)ㅁ form often carries the connotation of completed action, so it is not as flexible as the other two in its usage.
