Simple question "isteri"
Can someone explain the word "istri" and "isteri"? I see it being used as "Isteri saya tinggal di......" but google says they both mean "wife"
Explanation?

Selamat sore, David
"Istri" is a standard word for "wife", while "isteri" is not a standard one.
I suggest that you could download an Indonesian dictionary on Google Playstore, it's called Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia.
If you have any further question related to bahasa Indonesia, feel free to ask.
