Interesting places to visit Where are your favorite places to visit in your country? I like cities, historical places, wilderness areas, or whatever. For my part, if you were to come to the US I would recommend Yellowstone and Arches National Parks. If you like cities, New York has always been my favorite. I lived there for over a year and met people from all over the world.

Hi, Nathan! I'd like to advise you St.-Petersburg for your Russian trip. This is very beautiful city in Russia. Sankt-Petersburg also called "Nothern Venezia". There are a lot of channels, bridges and old-fashioned houses. This city was the capital of Russian from XVIII to XX centuries. One of Russian famous emperor, Peter the Great, was the main creator of this city. I had visited this gorgeous  city no less than triple and I could say that always was great.
Also I think it could be interesting for you if you come to Volgograd may be only for one weekend. (I can’t be quiet because it’s the city of my staying ))). My city is the city hero (Do you something about Stalingrad? Volgograd = Stalingrad).  The one of the most gory battle in WW2 is the Stalingrad battle (Did you see “Enemy at the Gates”, 2001? This is about Stalingrad battle.). So, Volgograd full of memorials of events of WW2. If you are interested in history that could be very interesting tour for you.

Hi Nathan, my favorite place to visit in Russia is Moscow. I loved visited Moscow when I lived in Russia. In summer the city is amazing. I love the Moscow Metro. Some of the stations are gorgeous. If you like art, the best place to visit is the State Tretyakov Gallery. VDNKh is a huge park complex where you can see beautiful fountains and pavilions represented the former Soviet Union. Of course, Red Square and Saint Basil's Cathedral are must see.

Hi Nathan, I really love San Francisco.  We once took the Amtrak train from Southern California up to San Francisco and it was amazing!  I've been there several times and for me, it never gets old.  I also enjoy San Diego and the Orange County area beaches.  My family and I like to hike in Colorado.  We really enjoy The Incline in Manitou Springs.  There's a really cool hike you can do from Glenwood Springs up to Hanging Lake - the scenery is breathtaking.  A new favorite for us is Lums Pond, which is right around the corner from where we live now - you can kayak or hike.  We are also close to Philly now and we're hoping to get over there soon and check it out.  We are also travelling to Tennessee this summer for a drag racing event, but I'm really excited to see what it's like as I've only driven through, and not actually spent any time there.  Fun question - thanks!
