Expressions with Parts of the Body

Hello,

I like to group expressions into categories, and I notice that in English we have a lot of expressions with body parts.  Take the word, "foot" for example.  Here is a small list of expressions with the word "foot":

- TO SET FOOT

- TO PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN

- PUT YOUR BEST FOOT FORWARD

- TO PUT YOUR FOOT IN YOUR MOUTH

- TO GET YOUR FOOT IN THE DOOR

I'm curious if these expressions are similar globally in other languages?  Do you have any expressions with the word "foot" in your language?  Can you think of any other expressions with the word "foot" that you have hear in English?

We also have, "to shoot yourself in the foot."  This one is kind of like putting your foot in your mouth, but it can also be used when talking about over-committing yourself to people and not being able to fulfill those commitments.

I just thought of another one we use: "I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole."  We say this when we talk about not wanting to be associated with someone or something.  We want to keep our distance.  :-)
