What is the most difficult thing about learning American English?

I live in Ohio which is part of the United States and I am a native English speaker.

What do you struggle with and why? Is it the vocabulary? The phrasal verbs? The Idioms? The writing? The pronunciation?

Hi Alice. I think is a bit of everything, but I believe it is not that different from learning any other language. One think that I could highlight is that sometimes informal conversations can be really different from what we learn (pronunciation etc). Cheers :)
