Which one do you prefer acting spontaneously, on your impulses, or being predictable?

In my personal opinion, It depends on which field we are talking about, I mean, for instance. being predictable in your marital life could be really an awesome factor your spouse can trust you and believe you. But on another hand, predictability could be a drawback, for instance, If you always do the same routines over and over, like clockwork, such as always eating the same food which you like or going to work the same road you always get through. So, as a matter of fact, predictability is needed in our life for trusting in each other but It could be really a monotonous life without acting spontaneously.
