ALAN ZHOU
If English is like this, would it be better?

If English grammar were like this, would it be better?

A man is happy. (masculine singular, happy)

A woman is happa. (Féminine singular, happa)

A child is happe. (Neuter singular, happe)

Two men are happi. (Masculine plural, happi)

Two women and two children are happe. (Non-masculine plural, happe)

To people who ask why complicating grammar:

Why shouldn’t we complicate grammar?

Calculators have simplified algebraic solutions, and what’s the result? Modern pupils are worse at calculating.

Computers have simplified writing and what’s the result? More and more people are worse at handwriting now.

If we simplify our languages, then our brains will deteriorate in functioning!

Humans use complex languages that’s why we are different from other animals,

Complicating English grammar will help improve our memory logic, reasoning, etc.

Simplifying will result in a loss of logic and laziness.

Alan, please assign each inanimate object in English a gender, then get back to us.

By the way, Alan, we say "if English were like this....". English still has verb tenses and the subjunctive mood. It's fun to conjugate verbs (for tense, mood, aspect, and number), isn't it? :)

No, it's unnecessary. Why do you want to complicate things? How would you do this in Chinese or German?

English was like that -- hundreds of years ago, but people got tired of it ;)
FYI, even High German doesn't even decline predicate adjectives. Come to think of it, maybe they ought to....
