Turkish: Texts for reading and listening

I find it hard to discover simple, short (~15min) Turkish texts as spoken audio and written text on the internet. The spoken audio could improve both my listening comprehension and my pronunciation while studying the written text is for grammar and vocabulary training. (Just like the audio CD that came with my course book, just more interesting.)

There's movies with subtitles, there are lyrics for songs and both are an interesting challenge at times. But this kind of content is usually for adult native speakers, thus full of colloquial phrases, abbreviations and figures of speech that are hard to understand.

My Turkish level allows me to follow videos like the ones found on a channel called "Turkish Fairy Tales" on Youtube... just to give you an idea.

I wonder if there's more of that kind outside the world of witches and princesses. Maybe you know beginner-friendly podcasts that come with a written transcript? Maybe there are audio books with short stories (I enjoyed reading the ones about Nasreddin Hoca for example) that are also available as ebooks?

I'll be thankful for any ideas.

@Gökberk while you're right that it's not 100% what I was originally looking for, it's still a great ressource for listening comprehension. Thanks for sharing this!

Hello Oskar, I have some short podcasts on my youtube channel. They may not be exactly what you're looking for, only short dialogues, but they should help. I'll be making longer podcasts talking about Turkish culture, starting this week. Be sure to check the channel:
