Feltis action because if you substitute this felt with an equal sign, the sentence does not make sense

When Michelle woke up this morning, she felt sick.

She = subject; felt = linking verb; sick = subject complement. [Felt is linking because

Michelle felt her forehead but did not detect a temperature.

Michelle = subject;felt = action verb. She felt what? Forehead= direct object. [Feltis action because if you substitute this felt with an equal sign, the sentence does not make sense

In the firs example it is subject complement and in the secound it object, right?

Yes.

feels tastes smells looks sounds

These are all linking verbs.

It feels good.

It tastes good.

It smells good.

It looks good.

It sounds good.

However, some of these verbs can be transitive:

I feel my cat's fur.

I taste the pizza.

I smell the roses.

I sound the alarm.

Verbs often have multiple meanings. Each meaning has to be treated independently.

I felt sick = I was sick.

I felt the table = I touched the table.
