Looks like italki will continue to host the Community Board/Section

Today I received a message from italki that provided a link to the new Beta Community section (including Answers, Discussions and Notebook boards/sections).

This appears to suggest that italki will not be moving the Community Board to Facebook... good.

italki Community is now available on < a href='http://beta.italki.com'>beta.italki.com. To access it from < a href='http://teach.italki.com'>teach.italki.com please follow these steps:

1. Hover over your circular profile photo and from the drop-down menu, click "Switch to Student Mode"

2. This will redirect you to beta.italki.com. You will see “Community” in the top right-hand corner next to your profile photo.

Yeah, we don't have to go down to read the new comment. Great!

It would be good to pick the old thread up and continue the discussion if you don't want to see the Partner Wanted any more, you only have to pick up old threads and post your comment. It would be a good writing practice.

I’m using the beta now in the browser of my phone. It’ll take some time to get used to it but there’s a huge improvement. Our prayers have been heard! Now they display the last comment first. No more tedious scrolling through dozens of pages to get to the last comment.

I checked my corrections in the notebook section. I found the display way was different and some of them were not colored or underlined, which I had done on the old version. It was troublesome to read them. Be careful. When you correct a notebook, you should write which version you chose.
