Exactly. I just looked. I've paid for 645 lessons. That's several thousand dollars. iTalki got a nice percentage of that I'm sure. My schedule currently is not such that I can always plan 24 hours or more in advance, and I would like to brush up on my Spanish fluency. It's a loss of convenience for what purpose? If they were going to replace it with something "better," why didn't they have that something prepared in advance?
As a fellow premium member, I understand your dismay . It behooves me to ponder "why doesn't italki respond to the needs of its premium members and instructor/ community tutors?" I just don't get it, because only premium members used Instant Tutoring, not the general membership. People like you, me , the countless other premium members and instructors are paying italki salaries. So, what gives? You will never receive any plausible explanation from italki about why Instant Tutoring was removed.
