How to control my diet? I`ve been working out regularly for an year. In the beginning, I worked so hard to control my diet and ate as much protein as I can. But recently I always couldn`t help but eat dessert like chocolate and muffin that is not healthy. I know if I go on like this, I will gain weight and lose my muscle. How can I cut my craving for dessert?

Hi Pei,

My suggestion for you is the same thing I need to do myself: deal with the craving for sugar after dinner by having something I don't like. I really don't like peppermint. I find the taste to be gross. So I want to try chewing a piece of peppermint gum every evening after dinner. I think my mind will stop expecting something sweet after a while.

Hi. If you want to eat some sweets you can eat a small amount of candies made with date fruits and nuts. They are healthier and have less calories but sweet enough. Also you can eat fruits :)

Hi Pei, I have a sweet tooth and I like doughnuts and chocolate cakes so much that it became a problem. Now what I do is
I fight my sugar craving by eating fruits and dried apricots, plums, etc. I buy trail mixes and eat in moderation. I eat oatmeal and put dates and cinnamon in it which help control blood sugar level. I really like cooking so I make saurkrauts and gut healthy fermented food. I eat pretty healthily but once in a month I go ahead and eat donuts or cake.
