Confirmations help me a lot in learning English. Recent I focused on vocabulary learning for various topics. For example, I learnt vocabulary words used in bedroom, in kitchen, in restaurant, in supermarkets, and so on. I found that it was really easy for me to grasp those new items in vocabulary. I wanted to knew why I had been struggled with vocabulary learning for years before that. There was just one thing different. I used pictures and videos to help me confirming those new vocabulary. For example, when I learnt vocabulary about bedroom, I studied with every details parts of those items in it by a picture. Then I searched relevant YouTube videos. It meant that I got two ways to confirm those new vocabulary words, images and sounds. 

My suggestion is learning vocabulary with both sounds and images. Not just reading vocabulary lists. One more important thing is that learning vocabulary systematically. For example, learning vocabulary words about supermarket can be divided into many sub-parts: Vocabulary words about food; vocabulary words about households; vocabulary about wines, etc. 

On conclusion:

1. Confirmed by sounds and imagines;

2. Learn systematically.

Sometimes I didn't know where to go when I want to take my English to next level. Then I found some new things to learn, those things that I didn't know. The challenges in learning process help me find out what I really need to improve immediately.
