Hi! I´m from Spain and here there is great religious tradition in Easter.
I would like to know whether happens the same in other countries. I supose it is a tradition of Christianity.
I would be grateful if you add some details about other cultures and religions.

In the United States, in the past, the Easter Parade in New York City was once an important event. It has declined since the 1950s; it still takes place, but you don't hear much about it.
It is informal, not very religious, and an occasion for people to show off the special clothing they plan to wear to Easter services.
Irving Berlin wrote a famous and beloved song about it:

People who celebrate Easter in the United States celebrate it in much the same way as elsewhere. However, there is an extra emphasis on some of the secular aspects--the "Easter Bunny (rabbit)," egg-dying, egg-rolling contests, and Easter egg hunts. There is often a big family get-together, and the traditional meal is ham.
One year, we hid Easter eggs (hard-boiled) in our house for our children to find. They couldn't find them. Finally we figured it out what had happened. We saw our dog eating the last one. Our dog had found them, searched through the house, and eaten all of them himself, shells and all.
Actually, we do no have that tradition of the rabbit, but there are lots of religious activities such as "procesiones"(I don't know how it's said in English)
On the other hand, we live in such a globalized world that I don't think it's akward to have mimic other countries. We constantly do...
