Would you give me recommendation? How did you learn to understand the fluent speech of foreigners?
Oh, that vague and fugitive drone of Americans!
When I listen to their presenters or actors, I have the impression that they drank boiling water.  I don't understand what they say, and sometimes , even after reading the phrase in the subtitles, I still cannot catch by ear. All souds what i hear is "bububbu" or "auauaaa". If the Germans say articulate and distinguish the intonation of speech that Americans  just pop like a machine gun , swallowing all the endings and prepositions. It is not clear where one word ends and the next begins.
How did you cope with this problem? Does it just take time or do you have tricks to speed up the process of understanding fluent speech? I know that the natives speakers hear the whole phrase, not individual words, because the words run faster than the brain manages to process them.

Nobody masters a language overnight. It takes time. You know what a child needs a long time before he/she can speak their mother language. Before that he/she just listens to all of his/her surrounding to understand what the hell goes on to the world! We should listen and learn any language the same way children do. Be patient. Best of luck.

Listen a lot. Watch American TV shows. You can watch video clips on YouTube too like the Ellen show, jimmy kimmel show etc. BBC news is also very helpful.
